Bossa Nova Revisited brings together Brazilian musicians Ramiro Pinheiro and Rodrigo Balduíno in a fresh interpretation of the music that defined one of Brazil's most influential musical movements. Drawing on the repertoire of Tom Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes and other leading figures of bossa nova, the project explores the genre's harmonic richness, rhythmic subtlety and lyrical sensitivity through original arrangements and a contemporary approach to Brazilian music and jazz. Combining their musical backgrounds and years of collaboration, Pinheiro and Balduíno revisit these timeless compositions with a personal touch, preserving the intimacy and understated elegance that have made bossa nova so enduring.
