[ENGLISH BELOW] Hoje é dia de lançamento, já está disponível em todas as plataformas o primeiro single do meu disco “Sentido” (Fresh Sound Records) – Quatro Ventos. Planejamos o lançamento de 4 singles em sequência (1 por mês), e finalmente um último single – junto com o disco completo – em maio/2021.
Pra mim é muito simbólico este lançamento, porque Sentido é meu primeiro disco quase todo autoral, e Quatro Ventos é a minha primeira composição recém chegado a Barcelona, faz uns 15 anos. Tema introspectivo, começou com esse motivo melódico de quatro notas que levadas pelo vento cruzam diversas paisagens harmônicas.
Os caminhos da vida me levaram a gravá-la com quatro maravilhosos “ventos”: a flauta de Pablo Giménez, o fliscorne de Àlvar Monfort, o saxofone de Piero Cozzi, e agora o clarinete de Gabriel Amargant – nesta gravação acompanhados pelos queridos Horacio Fumero e Nicolas Correa (que formam o trio base do disco).

[EN] Quatro Ventos, the first single of my album “Sentido” (Fresh Sound Records) is available in all platforms. We’ve planned the release of 4 singles in a row (monthly) and finally the last single (together with the full album) on May 2021.
This release is very symbolic to me for many reasons. “Sentido” is the first record with my music – I composed and co-wrote (with various lyricists) all but two of the nine selections. First song of the album, “Quatro Ventos” is also my first composition after I recently moved to Barcelona 15 years ago. An introspective theme, the idea started with this 4 notes motive, that travells accross different harmonic landscapes.
Life brought me to record it with four wonderful “winds”: the flute of Pablo Giménez, the flugelhorn of Àlvar Monfort, the saxophone of Piero Cozzi, and now the clarinet of Gabriel Amargant – together with the dears Horacio Fumero and Nicolas Correa (both are part of the core trio of “Sentido”).
